I’m not into the Super Bowl, but it’s good to see Bad Bunny chosen for the Super Bowl 2026 halftime show which will mostly be en español from my understanding, and that pisses off the long-play-mouth dictator in the oval, as well as that maga scum Mike “Little Man” Johnson, who resides in the dictator’s upper colon. When you think about it, it’s hard to believe there’s any more room up there with so many people in his upper colon, people like that Pam Bondi bitch and that wretched white house press liar and chief propagandist who has that abrasive and septic personality (she’s one of their christian frauds with that little cross around her neck), and also the six fascists on the Supreme Court who are complicit with his turning the US into a authoritarian, fascist dictatorship.
Where did the dictator find all these nasty-assed trash for his lawless fascist regime? Have you noticed that these maga trash always look miserable? They look like they never have anything pleasurable or fun in their life. They’re usually wearing a snarl. Take that Marco Rubio for example. He’s the Latino who clearly hates other Latinos and has no problem putting Latinos in the dictator’s concentration camps. As I see it, Bad Bunny is an excellent choice for the Super Bowl haf-time show.
Since it’s important to some people, although I’m not one of them: Bad Bunny lives in America, specifically in Puerto Rico. He also has property in Manhattan.
Bad Bunny has urged people to learn español by February 2026. That’s quite a goal, but I get his point. A language can be quite difficult to learn so when anyone says, “Go learn [name of language]” it’s not as easy as it sounds. The thing is: Some people are language people and others are not (my choral friend is not a language person), and to learn a new language well, one has to have a genuine interest in the language, otherwise it can be quite difficult and frustrating for the person.
Often the maga trash who scream, “Go learn English” imply English can be learned overnight and the people who scream that are the very people who need to work on their own US English. It shows their complete ignorance about language learning. It’s the same for the language of music; it can take years for one to be able to play a piece competently for others to enjoy.
Rather than be terrified of world languages, people should embrace them — as classical musicians have done for generations; we work with many different international languages as musicians — and learn as many languages as possible, as they do in the EU. Some people in the EU know as many as five world languages and are fluent in all five. I know a guy who speaks: Español (Spanish), Français (French), Русский (Russian), Українська (Ukrainian) and EU English (Oxbridge English).
But then you come to the US, and it’s embarrassing. Most people have trouble just getting through one language: US English, and the maga redneck trash with their nativist mentality seem terrified of any language other than their precious US English.
One thing people can do to help them learn español is to turn on Univisión (pronounced: uniβiˈsjon] and/or Telemundo to help get the language in your ear.
What I’ve noticed about the español language networks in the US is that most of the people at microphones seem to be at least bilingual, being fluent in both español and US English, and on occasion go back and forth between the two languages, especially when translating in a live broadcast by interviewing someone who is speaking US English and translating in español to their audience.
It can take a long time to learn a language so these redneck trash who scream, “Learn English” should 1) take their own advice and 2) learn español — as Bad Bunny says — at your own speed to learn the language well.
Maybe California Governor Gavin Newsom will introduce Bad Bunny at the Super Bowl. Newsom is one of the only Democrats who stands up to these maga Republican trash and calls them what they are: “the real scum.” That’s what he accurately called the dictator in the oval.
As for Bad Bunny performing at the Super Bowl: “It’s a smart move,” said Brandon Ross, media analyst at LightShed Partners. “The NFL knows that music can expand its audience in ways the game alone can’t.”
And why is that? Because as I have written many times, music is the international language crossing all human made geographic borders.
Muchísimas gracias to the NFL. I thank them for not catering to maga white supremacy.
