They could be mistaken for being in the San Francisco Symphony Chorus, since they wear all-black performance attire, as do most Symphony Choruses/Orchestra Choruses.

Or maybe these people in all-black are coming back from a funeral.  They go to a funeral every day of the year?  They must know a lot of people.

There are a lot of people in San Francisco who wear all-black clothing — regardless of the temperature outdoors — 365 days a year.  They wouldn’t dream of wearing anything else but boring and depressing-looking all-black.  It would seem that conformity is more important to these people than their comfort level.  Or have they not learned from experience that black clothing can make a body very warm when it’s hot out?  Do I need to explain that?

I would find it very depressing to wear all-black clothing every day of the year, as these Black and Grey Cultists do.  What psychological issues do these people have who are afraid of beautiful colours?  And who brainwashed them that they must wear all-black every day of the year?

Some of the females that are part of the all-black cult look like stuffed black pigs.  They’re overweight and wear black tights, a tight black shirt, the frame for their eye glasses is black, their phone is black and their shoes are black.  Insanity?

I’ve read that the all-black cult is for people who don’t like having to decide what they’re going to wear each morning — that’s a difficult decision for them? — so they wear all-black every day regardless of the temperature outside.

Black is a very bold colour, but I’ve read online that some people wear all-black to “blend in” with the herd.  Well you’re not likely to “blend in” wearing all-black.  How is that possible?

I’ve also read that the all-black cult think that all-black looks “classy.”  Ugh.  “Classy” is a word the sheeple like to use because it’s really about class and thinking you’re better than other people (think:  class warfare).  I never think about “class.”   To me, people are people.  But some of these people of the all-black cult don’t sound “classy” when they open their mouth and one hears the word “like” every other word.  Or to them, everything is “awesome” and “amazing” even when it’s not but rather the most mundane things.

But particularly in San Francisco’s Castro, that’s where you’ll see the majority of people wearing all-black clothing every day of the year.  Even gym clothing:  black gym shorts and a black tee-shirt.  Everything must be black.  (roll eyes)  Even the baby strollers are all-black.

This is true regardless of one’s chronological age.  The black and grey cult used to be mostly the 20s and 30s crowd.   These days I see people of any age wearing all-black.   The problem with that is that black and grey clothing make people with grey hair look even older than they probably are.  The all-black accentuates that grey hair.  Black and grey clothing ages a person with grey hair.  But it seems that most people with grey hair are clueless to that.

I’ve not said much about grey clothing, but with some people they wear black and grey together.  I think that’s supposed to look “classy” too.  To me it doesn’t.  To me it looks drab, unimaginative and boring.  Depressing.  I still see that but I mostly see all-black.

Some people have their homes in all-black and grey.  I’ve seen them.  They look like a mortuary.  They have dull grey dingy walls, dingy grey drapes, dull black-grey furniture, black and/or grey bedding, black counters, dull grey cabinets, black and grey everywhere you look.  What sane person would want to live in a depressing place like that?   They have the bathroom painted all dingy grey.  One wonders how they’re able to see mold on the walls when the walls are the same colour as mold!  Doh.  Or have these Black and Grey Cultists never thought of that?

I remember in one of San Francisco’s rare heat waves it was extremely hot out.  So I went into The Castro to check, and the Black Cult was still wearing their all-black clothing in extreme heat.  Again, conformity was/is more important to these people than their comfort level.

This also speaks to people’s level of insecurity where they feel the need to conform in order to “fit in” with the herd.  Who wants to do that?  Insecure people who don’t know themselves and they feel/hope they will be accepted by others if they’re wearing all-black or black and grey, the same drab clothing that most others are wearing.  I’m not sure that works for them.  I’ve never see anyone with all-black or black and grey clothing talking with anyone.
