The Christmas and Easter “Christians”

Yeah, they’re fucking annoying. Let’s tell it like it is. They’re superficial, fake-Christians who have been brainwashed — probably by parents — that if they don’t go to church any other time of year, make sure you go to church on Christmas and Easter to “buy your way into heaven.” Don’t they think that The Holy Trinity (THT) can see through their tacky and superficial deceptions? THT is not fooled by these people, these fake-Christians.

The priests notice them — how could they not — when the Nave is packed twice a year but less so the rest of the year?

I saw the Nave of Saint Thomas Church Fifth Avenue (Anglican Communion) on the First Sunday of Easter, also known as Easter Sunday. The Nave is not packed any other Sunday. It was not packed on the Second Sunday of Easter and the other Sundays of Easter or into Pentecost. It was packed on the First Sunday of Easter.

And I observed the behaviour of most of the people packed into the pews. They were not Anglicans. Either that or they were very Low Church people because few practised Anglican protocol. I saw few people bowing to the processional crosses as they past or made the three signs of the cross before The Gospel reading. They are two examples.

But there was one distinct thing I noticed. Half of the Nave was empty after the sheeple received Holy Communion. They left early. They did not attend the entire Mass. Again, these people are tacky.

Their thinking seems to be: I’m only here for Communion so I’ll leave after Communion and not be there for the rest of the Liturgy. As far as I’m concerned the Mass is over after Communion. That seems to be the mindset of the shallow and superficial fake Christians known as the “Christmas and Easter Christians.” The priests can see right through these shallow and superficial people.

One wonders why they go to a High Church — when most of these people were/are not High Church/Anglo-Catholic people — or was it because it was nearby? Tacky best describes them. In my mind I thought: Did they come especially to hear the Saint Thomas Choir of Men and Boys? Nah. People like that don’t give a damn about the music. They’re just there to fulfill their “obligation” that they’ve been brainwashed with from an early age that “You must go to church on those two High Holy Days if you don’t go any other time of year.” What a silly and ludicrous concept.
