So a University’s Men’s Chorus can no longer be called a Men’s Chorus

Some people of the — I have to assume — Trans Agenda are apparently demanding that Conservatories and University Schools of Music de-gender the name of their musical ensembles on campus to make their name gender-neutral.  No, I’m not making this up.

So a Men’s Chorus can no longer be called a Men’s Chorus, even though that’s what it is.  The Chorus is given some single word new name — such as Tactus — that wouldn’t give anyone (including an audience) any idea what the ensemble is about.  So when this ensemble were to be invited to perform in a major Concert Hall with a major symphony orchestra, they will appear on the programme as University of _____ Tactus. The audience will be asking: WTF is Tactus? Rather than University of ______ Men’s Chorus.

A Women’s Chorus is being renamed The Treble Chorus.  So in other words, the Trans Agenda is “neutering” (so to speak) men and women to try to make them gender-less.  Is this because some (many?) trans people can’t decide what gender they are so they want to be referred to as “they/them” which are plural pronouns.  Might one assume that these trans people think that they are two people or have two different people within the same body? Well, we are living in the Century of Insanity.

The Choral Arts Society of Washington (CASW) in the District of Columbia recently had to deal with this.  They hired a new Chorus Director in 2022.  Well, that person apparently couldn’t decide what gender he or she was, so the new Chorus Director wanted to be known as “they/them” and that’s how the Choral Arts Society wrote the press release announcing the new hire.  The Chorus referred to the new Chorus Director as “they/them.”  That person didn’t last long — as I had predicted — and “they/them” resigned after about 5 months in the position. One article about the new hire Chorus Director apparently refused to go along with this nonsense and referred to the person as “he” since the new hire looked more like a guy than a girl.

In a sane world not marred by insane political correctness run a foul because of The Gay Agenda or the Trans Agenda, there is absolutely nothing wrong with anyone having a Men’s Chorus or a Women’s Chorus and calling it such.

Let me be clear: Gay people and trans people should have the same rights as anyone else. The reality is that ever since gay marriage became legal in the US, The Gay Agenda/Trans Agenda have completely lost themselves, lost their way and lost their relevance. Rather than being concerned about something that matters and that could make a major difference in people’s lives such as the needs of the homeless queers and queer military veteran — which the Gay Agenda have zero interest in — they’re more concerned about queers of their same income bracket having lah-tee-dah USD$500.00+ a plate dinners honouring celebrities and or tech billionaires and degendering the names of musical ensembles in renowned musical institutions. Absolute insanity.

One wonders: Did some trans person(s) approach the University’s School of Music Men’s Chorus, for example, and say “I have a deep voice but I’m not a man and I’m not a woman but I want to sing with your Chorus so remove the gender name of it so I and other trans people can sing in your ensemble.”  Repeat the same process for the Women’s Chorus and other similar ensembles.  In that instance the trans person tells the School of Music: “I have a high voice but I’m not a woman or a man but I want to sing with your Chorus.”  Bowing to this insanity, the Chorus is renamed the Treble Chorus by the School of Music — get rid of the word “Women’s” — to cater to the Trans Agenda and or political correctness.

Of course if a trans person were telling this, that person would be going on about how “I identify” or “I don’t identify.”  All that “identifying” rubbish of the Gay Agenda. What am I talking about? Where many people these days can’t say what they are. Instead they have to “identify.” I read this all the time. Someone says, “I identify as gay.” Rather than say, “I’m gay.” Or “I identify as lesbian.” Can’t she say, “I’m a lesbian.” The “identifying” nonsense is unnecessary. And people can “identify” as anything and make it up as they go along from day to day. How will they “identify” next week? As a fire hydrant? About six months ago I read an article about tea. This guy was interviewed and he said, “I identify as a tea drinker.” Ah, jesus fucking christ. Well, you might “identify” as a tea drinker but that doesn’t mean that you are one, sheep! He couldn’t bring himself to say, “I drink tea.” I assume that the Gay Agenda started this ludicrous “identifying” nonsense. By “identifying,” it’s a way of distancing oneself from one’s sexuality. You don’t actually have to BE something or someone. Just “identify” as something or someone. It’s yet another way of sanitising gay.

I don’t think that The Gay Agenda and the Trans Agenda — who have ridden on the coattails of the gay so-called “community” even though trans has nothing to do with same-gender attraction but rather feeling that one was born the wrong gender — could have ruined things any more than they have. They are completely out-of-control when they’re requiring Conservatories and University Schools of Music to give gender-less names to their musical ensembles.  It’s more insanity here in the Century of Insanity.
