The US Election Cycle is always the same. Every four years it’s the same.
I was scanning comments on a YT political channel earlier today. I thought to myself: These comments are identical to the comments I read 4 years ago and 4 years before that and 4 years before that and so forth. Just change the candidate’s names and the date, depending upon the election cycle, but the behaviour of the voters is the same every election cycle. And nobody seems to see this and come to this conclusion. If they do, they don’t talk about it.
The Democrats and Republicans are like two cults particularly at election time. Their cultists will blindly vote for whatever person/candidate their cult puts up for them to vote for (or the outdated Electoral College to vote for), no matter how bad their candidate is. And their cultists will vote in lockstep for said candidate just because that person is the cult’s/party’s nominee. They will go to any length to make excuses for the candidates of president and vice president. Many will say, “He’s all we’ve got.” Well no, you don’t have him. You just want to believe you do. He’s part of The Establishment; you claim not to be part of The Establishment whilst voting in lockstep with The Establishment candidate. These voters keep doing the same thing every election cycle and seemingly expecting a different result. That’s insanity.
Most were saying they were voting for Biden regardless. Yes, that’s expected. Others were saying Biden needs to drop out, in part, because of his ass-eating of the #2 Terrorist Nation on the planet: Israel. A few were living in dream land and suggesting Dr Cornell West (age 70) as the nominee, and Marianne Williamson (age 71). Do these D cultists really think that the Establishment Democratic Cult is about to nominate Cornell West? He has as much chance as I do. Most are not hot on Kamala Harris either. One person was chanting the name of “Bernie” once again. (He’s 82). There was mention of Robert F Kennedy Jr (He’s 69). So there’s no credible person who is interested in running for US president who is younger than 70? They don’t seem to have this problem in other countries.
Many commenters said they were not voting for Biden per se but against the Republican candidate, which all assume will be DJT. Yes, that’s what they say every four years. This is the behaviour of cultists.
And most expect lockstep voting and support for Biden. Some suggested he drop out and the cult nominate California Governor Gavin Newsom. Others spelled Newsom’s name wrong by putting an “e” on the end like this: Newsome [sic]. I’ve only seen the conservatives spell it “Newsome” [sic] as a way of putting Gavin down. He was referred to as “greasy Gavin” in the comments on YT. Gavin Newsom is a very clean guy. I’m referring to his person. He’s not “greasy” at all. “Greasy” is taking a stab at him for when he was Mayor of San Francisco and used hair gel in his hair, as many other people do. He may still use hair gel, I don’t know. It doesn’t matter. You would think that if someone is supporting a candidate, they would know how to correctly spell his last name.
A friend told me: You say the same thing every presidential election cycle. You say the comments are “copy and paste” of 4 years ago and 4 years before that and 4 years before that. Yes, that’s true, I do. Because the cultists say the same thing every 4 years. It’s just that I don’t pay much attention to this stuff because I’m not a cultist of any politician or political party/cult, and the last time I saw this rubbish was about 4 years ago. So, this time (November 2023) I was slower to remember the every-4-year repetition of the same “copy and past” comments being repeated again.
Update: On 9 November 2023, Dr Jill Stein announced she’s running for US president once again on the Green Party ticket. That’s a mistake. A bad idea. Things are fucked up in the US election system and all that any candidate outside the D and R cults will get is hate. I’ve supported Jill Stein in the past but she doesn’t seem to understand that multiple parties don’t work in the US when it comes to widespread support. I’ve seen this over and over so that’s why I no longer support the “alternatives.” The voters in the US have a D and R cult mentality and they will only vote for and or support the two major cults. Period. And they will also play the blame game and hate on any and all candidates not aligned with the two cults. Rarely do the cultists of the two cults take any ownership or responsibility for their cults’ failures. Instead, they immaturely blame any and all other people such as Stein, et al. So when I heard that Dr Stein was running once again, I asked: And what does she think will be different this time? Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result is insanity. She will be accused of “giving it to Donald.” In any sane world, people should be able to vote for the candidate of their choice without any hate directed at them. But multiple parties do not work in the US — only the two major cults do with their monopoly on their brainwashed cultists with the help of the US corporate media — unlike in other countries such as France, the UK and elsewhere. So, one should expect a repeat of things for Stein including the spam comments from 4 years ago (just change the date) and 4 years before that about her and her presidential run. Her devout followers will write the same comments they wrote 4 years ago and 4 years before that and they will receive the same hate they received 4 years ago and 4 years before that. The same goes for anybody else who runs for president who is not part of the D and R Cults. By the way, Stein received 1.07% of the popular vote and no Electoral College delegates in 2016. And since every election is about the Electoral College vote, well, there you are. I don’t know why Jill Stein thinks anything will be different this time in 2024. She’ll likely clock in at around 1% of the popular vote again. But it’s not about the popular vote that ultimately wins the election. It’s about the Electoral College vote/delegates.
