Update 14 February 2025:  I have a correction to make.  My suggestions to the National Symphony Orchestra — not that they will ever read this — are not workable.  The University of Maryland receives federal funding as does Wolf Trap Farm Park for the Performing Arts.  I didn’t suggest Wolf Trap, but that’s out too.  The National Symphony Orchestra cannot relocate to any place that receives federal funding because the convicted felon and sexual predator will find something about the place that he would call “woke.”  He is absolutely obsessed with “woke.”  He and unelected president Musk intend to take the US back to the 1930s-40s.  That’s why he took over the Kennedy Center because he found out somehow that they had a couple of programmes featuring the art form of drag queens.  And he has since cancelled the popular gay pride concert with the National Symphony Orchestra scheduled for May.  So, if the NSO were to move, Washington National Cathedral would probably be the best choice.  He would call them “woke” too, but they don’t receive any federal funding.  I don’t know, maybe the NSO has no intention of moving out of the Kennedy Center which has been their home since the opening of the Center.  If they stay, they still have to deal with the convicted felon and sexual predator determining their programmes — when the piece of trash and his selected new ultra-right Board know nothing about music — and the many artists refusing to perform there even if the NSO stays.  There’s also the Capital One Arena not far from the White House which is apparently being renovated:  “…federal funding is not directly used to renovate Capital One Arena in DC, but the District of Columbia government is providing $515 million in public funds for the project. The arena’s owner, Monumental Sports and Entertainment, is also contributing to the renovation.”  So I just wanted to make that correction since I’ve been pushing for the NSO to move to the University of Maryland campus.  As it turns out, they can’t do that.  End of Update.

Update 14 February 2025: From The New Republic: The convicted felon and sexual predator appoints weirdest Board ever to the Kennedy Center. He has taken over the prestigious performing arts institution. Also, musicians are cancelling their scheduled performances at the Kennedy Center. No word on what the National Symphony Orchestra and The Washington National Opera intend to do. Maybe they will take my suggestion of relocating to the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Centre on the University of Maryland campus (not that I live under any illusions that anyone from the NSO or TWNO will ever read this).

Update 12 February 2025:  There’s some good news about this story:  Some long-time donors of the Kennedy Center are stopping their donations to the Center as a result of the nazi convicted felon and rapist taking over/changing the Kennedy Center.  The donors have decided to make donations instead to other local arts organisations in the District.  One of the major donors said that she read what the convicted felon said about the Center.  She said “That’s not what the Kennedy Center is about and that’s not what it was meant for.”  She asked the Center to no longer send her any communications.  I’m waiting for the National Symphony Orchestra and The Washington National Opera to announce their departure from the Center.  As I wrote previously, I suggested that both organisations relocate to the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Centre on the University of Maryland campus outside the District.  They should be able to work out some arrangement with the University I should think.  And by doing so, maybe the University of Maryland Concert Choir would be offered more engagements with the NSO than they’ve had in past years (approximately one series of performances a season).  And what about The Washington Ballet’s performances in the Eisenhower Theatre in the Kennedy Center?  They, too, could relocate to the University of Maryland.  From what I read, their rehearsals are usually held at their locations in the District and not in the Kennedy Center, where their performances have been held.  The University student body could be part of their audience.

Update 9 February 2025: It just occurred to me that the thin-skinned child in an oversized adult body, convicted felon and rapist essentially now owns the Kennedy Center since he has now declared himself in all caps “the amazing new chairman” or something like that with “the best is yet to come” he wrote. So, this is the end of the Kennedy Center as I know it. And since he now owns it, he has several free venues in the Center for his future cult rallies, so he wouldn’t have to pay to use the Capital One Arena in the District not too far from the White House for his cult rallies.  Also, expect a name change to his last name, whether anyone likes it or not.

Update 9 February 2025: If the Kennedy Center’s National Symphony Orchestra want nothing to do with the convicted felon as head of the Kennedy Center, maybe they should pursue asking Washington National Cathedral if they could perform there indefinitely. I think the Bishop of the Diocese of Washington would welcome them. Or, what about the Concert Hall in the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Centre on the University of Maryland College Park campus? The University of Maryland Concert Choir perform with the NSO about once a season (usually Messiah in December), so that might be an option. And why couldn’t The Washington National Opera (based in the Kennedy Center) move to the Maryland campus as well? The convicted felon knows absolutely nothing about music or The Arts. He implied that the artists who perform at the Kennedy Center are not the best, which is rubbish. The Kennedy Center — like other concert halls in major cities — only feature the finest artists, just like in Davies Symphony Hall in San Francisco. He also implied that only artists from the US should perform in the Kennedy Center (“…from our Nation.”) Why was the word nation in initial caps? Sounds like he does not intend for international artists to perform there any longer. More insanity. This piece of trash is freaking nuts and completely out of control, and one can credit the trash on the US Supreme Court for that. End of Update.

It should be glaringly obvious now to those who have been paying attention that the insane international bully, convicted felon and sexual predator and the unelected billionaire president Musk intend to completely dismantle the US federal government in the District of Columbia. The federal government is a major and crucial part of the United States of North America, that the felon pretends to love. Yet he and the unelected billionaire president Musk are in the process of destroying the federal government to — as the convicted felon calls it — “Make America Great Again.” (roll eyes).  Now, the convicted felon and sexual predator intends to destroy the Kennedy Center. He’s decided he will run the place. WTF does he know about music, the arts and the theatre? Absolutely nothing and from what I read he did not attend any performances there during his first term.  But there is nothing that this piece of trash thinks he is not an authority on.

Some of the Conservatory students asked me my thoughts on this and part of what I told them was the following: I’m just glad I got to perform there during the height of the symphonic choral movement many times during my Orchestra Chorus years with the National Symphony Orchestra and the Choral Arts Society of Washington and the University of Maryland Chorus.  At that time, the Kennedy Center seemed to be operating just fine.  I’m wondering: Will the Kennedy Center’s resident National Symphony Orchestra bend the knee to this piece of trash and continue to perform there?  Or will they move to another venue?  The Bishop would likely welcome them to Washington National Cathedral.  One artist from a musical that’s being performed at the Kennedy Center at this time, “I’m glad I got to perform here one last time” implying she would no longer accept engagements at the Kennedy Center when run by the convicted felon and the unelected president Musk.

This piece of trash is deliberately destroying everything he comes in contact with and or touches. It’s a demolition of the US federal government.  What is this insanity intended to accomplish?  Meanwhile, the far-right US Supreme Court who gave this piece of orange trash complete immunity awhile back — implying he can do anything he wants — remain silent. So it would seem that they are in agreement with him. They’ve made no statement retracting his complete immunity to destroy the District of Columbia, which he calls — like a tourist — “Washington DC.” He has never learned that the official name for the US nation’s capital is the District of Columbia.
